What are you wasting your time doing?
Friends, I am guilty of wasting hours and hours upon hours of my life watching junk, being programmed to think as the world thinks.
When I was a child my dear mother took us to church where I learned, memorized scriptures from the Holy Bible, which is my treasure.
But the rest of my life was in a formal school setting being indoctrinated with lies, built upon lies, then I went home. After doing any homework, I’d watch upwards to five hours of T.V. (tell a vision): news, cartoons, Disney movies, sitcoms.
Who was telling me a vision?
Who was writing the thick curriculum books?
Who was running Disney?
Who owned the news stations?
Who paraded themselves about in Hollywood as my idol?
Today, and every day, now for four years I spend my waking moments thanking my LORD and Savior for a new day, then I dive into His precious Word. I use the Hebrew and Greek root words to unveil the truth behind the English whitewash.
The Blue Letter Bible app (BLB) and E-Sword are free apps. Search a scripture in BLB or a key word to find all the verses with that word.
Use the interlinear tab to see the verse in English and written in either Hebrew or Greek (Old Testament is Hebrew and Greek is New Testament).
Touch on the Strong’s number for the root word i.e. H410 or G4151. Read the Strong’s definition for understanding.
The world WILL NOT teach you the truth.
Our flesh can and does devour Tik Tok videos, Instagram messages, YouTube videos, movies, sports, news, weather channel, like eating empty carbs which provide no true sustenance.
So, what are you wasting your time doing?
Make a change today.
Remember the Lord’s Prayer? Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name (YHWH). Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever, Amen.
